Immediately !!: You need to let your breast/general surgeon and/or the anesthesiologist involved with your case know immediately. The medication involved in anesthesia and stress from the surgery itself can be harmful to a developing fetus. An informed decision between you, your surgeon, your anesthesiologist and OB should be developed so as to make sure you understand and minimize all possible risks!
