A friend of mine has shingles (herpes zoster), he is 24 years old, does that means he is immunosuppressed?

Shingles: Yes and No. Shingles is often brought on by stress and or other situations that lower one's immunity temporarily such as concurrent illness, fatigue, poor nutrition. But, sometimes it just occurs. There is a shingle vaccine. Let's hope once he is healed he will take the vaccine so that this does not happen again.
