i take losartan 25mg. i like to have a few beers every now and then. not daily. maybe once a week. is this ok? no major health issues.

Yes: Once in a while beer is not a problem. Consider avoiding Salty snacks with beer which can elevate blood pressure. You may actually able to stop losartan if you exercise 60 mins a day, follow low salt diet and loose 5-10 lbs of your weight (only if you are over-weight)
