How many polio vacci: There are only two types of polio vaccines.The oral vaccine which is a live virus vaccine, and not used in USA as it can rarely cause paralytic polio.Its use was abandoned few years ago. The other is the injectable made from killed virus and is used in USA as it does not cause paralytic polio.
