Were you treated?: I am not clear into what it means cleared from STD's. Do you mean you were treated or that there tests were negative? In any case BV is not necessarily an STD. Usually causes a fishy odor. If you were treated it might be that the antibiotics used did not work so you might need alternative. If you have not been treated then make sure you get seen.

Culture needed: If all results from genital culture are negative and you have been evaluated by a GYN specialist, then try healthy lifestyle changes that will enhance your immune system. Avoid smoking and other substance use, adopt healthy diet and regular exercise, vitamin/mineral supplements may help if your diet is not rich in fresh fruits and vegetable. Sometimes hormonal tests may be necessary.

Treatment: You may need to be treated or retreated for BV. BV is not an infection, it is an imbalance in the bacterial flora of the vagina. Antibiotics suppress the abnormal bacteria, but you also have to restore the normal. Taking probiotics, like eating yogurt, can restore the normal bacteria. Do not douche! It will actually make things worse.
