One fissurectomy site seems to have reopened. how long does it take for these to heal? this was a chronic deep muscle fissure.

Highly variable: 95+ percent chance of healing with fissurectomy/sphincterotomy in the average patient. There are many variables and healing can take several months in rare cases. Sometimes further surgery is necessary.

If the surgery was: performed correctly and appropriately, and assuming you are in good health and have good nutrition, followed post op dietary and fluid instructions, all wounds should be healed in 4-6 weeks after surgery. Feel free to get a second opinion if you are not having luck with your surgeon
