What does tnm and clarks level mean for prostate cancer?

Staging system: Tnm ( tumor size, nodal status and metastatic disease) is a staging system used to classify cancer into grades and stages so accurate decisions can be made in regards to treatments and also prognosis. All cancer have similar grading systems with individual tweaks for the particular cancer being staged. Clark's level is another grading system that helps grade the level of tumor invasion in to the adjacent area- usually used in melanoma.

Staging: The TNM stage is the most common staging system for prostate cancer. It tells the physician and all consulting physicians the extent of disease for that individual. It assesses the extent of the priomary cancer, if there are positive lymph nodes, and if there are metastatic lesions noted.
