Supportive: Encourage her to talk to an adult. Stay with the same message. Express concern and encourage her to be brave and to speak to someone who can get her into medical care.

Eating Disorder: Eating disorders begin with feelings of low self-esteem, poor body image, loss of control. Food restriction provides a means to restore a sense of control and deal with emotional distress. Self-harm can be serious and intervention is important. Encourage your friend to get a physical to put your minds at ease. Offer to go with her. The longer this goes untreated, the harder it will be to treat.

Go to doc with her : Offer to go to doctor with her and even be in the exam room with herX ultimately she will understand u care for her and that u are there to help her, without necessarily embarrassing her by calling her parents. If the doctor her tells u that he is very worried because of her weight, then she becomes a danger to herself. This is when u REALLY NEED TO CALL HER FAMILY!
