Unrelated treatments: Gene therapy is an experimental type of therapy which is used to manipulate functions of group of cells(Like Lymphocytes). Bone marrow transplantation used normal blood stem cells which reside in the bone marrow and also tend to circulate in the peripheral blood in small numbers.
