Fistula: A colovaginal fistula is an abnormal communication between the colon and the vagina. Patients experience the passage of stool and gas per vagina. Usually seen in patients after a hysterectomy. Usually caused by Diveticulitis but other diseases such as cancer, Crohn's, etc could be the culprit. I hope this helps. Be well!
