Nothing Fast Avail: Ice may decrease blood supply to the bone causing more pain. Shin Splints do not go away fast. You will feel improvement in them by decreasing any physical activity you may be doing to improve the pain from them. But they can take up to 4-6 weeks to improve. You may consider platelet therapy and stem cell therapy if not improving to heal tissues better. Check out Regenexx.Com.
