Iron deficiency: Low ferritin is from iron deficiency. Iron deficiency is usually easy to correct. One question now is why do you have iron deficiency. Some people have this from their diet. Iron deficiency is also seen in people who have abnormal bleeding. Additional tests may need to be done to evaluate this.
