Here are some ...: Clinically, from epididymitis to epididymo-orchitis is a process of full spectrum, usually resulting from the extension of bacterial UTI or STD-related urethritis to epididymis then to testis if Rx doesn't effectively take place. How soon may a "cure" occur? That would depend on how the bacterial virulence and the degree of infection / inflammation, and antibiotic effectiveness. So, ask Doc timely
