Here are some ...: First, Flagyl will not work well for treating chlamydia-related epididymitis. Second, how was the diagnosis of epididymitis made? Based on intermittent pain or a comprehensive picture of epididymitis? So, reconfirm if Dx has been correct or just having intermittent pain the the testicular or scrotal area? If the pain / ache has been highly variable in degree, duration, & interval..., probably no.
