A member asked:

What to do if i have been having this ear popping problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: Whenever you swallow the Eustachian tube opens and gases from the back of the nose enter the middle ear space to equalize normal barometric pressure. The only other possibility is that you may have become aware of muscle contraction of the middle ear muscles. This could be related to anxiety. Rarely a muscle relaxant may help the latter problem. If this really bothers you, see an ENT doctor.
