Cough Relief: If short term, lozenges work well. Not curative of course, but assuming it is from a cold virus or brief irritation, they will sooth and lubricate your throat. If this has been persisting for some time, then digging deeper would be required. There are a number of causes of cough. Your doctor can explore them together with your medical history, situation, occupation, vital signs, and exam.

Depends on the cough: Accumulation of gunk is helped by mucin ex, allergies by antihistamines, residual inflammation after a cold is hard to tackle but camphor cough drops are somewhat good. Of course any cough lasting more than 2wks should be evaluated
