Call urology.: Ian, any person with blood in their urine must be evaluated by a urologist. Infection, cancer, kidney stones, anticoagulation, a medical kidney disease, or a bleeding disorder can cause blood in the urine. Often the cause of bleeding can be found, and less often, we do not have a cause. See a urologist, who can investigate the problem and provide a course of action. Best of luck, Ian.
