Variable: The milestone for standing with assistance is approximately 7 months old but many children will not stand on their own until they are a year old and others are running about at the same age. If you have concerns that your child may not be meeting his milestones or may be having problems you can always discuss it with your own pediatrician.

About one year of Ag: Most babies start crawling and soon stand up when they are around one year. Some may be a bit slow but by 18 months they should be starting to walk and be steady on their feet. There is some variation in these mile stones among different kids.
