Miscarriage or not: The two may or may not be related. Due to the fact that you are not using protection, the possibility of pregnancy and another miscarriage is high. However, there are many other reasons that can cause abnormal bleeding - ovarian cysts, thyroid problems, uterine problems. I would suggest that you monitor your periods and if they continue to be abnormal, you should have labs and an ultrasound.
