Brita should do it: Recommendation is to use filtered, distilled, or bottled water. Brita filter should adequately filter out elements of concern. You can heat this up in the microwave for 10 to 20 seconds to make it more comfortable. Be sure to wash your bottle/neti pot regularly as well.

Pretty safe: There have been NO case-reports of Primary Amebic Meningoencephalitis caused by Naegleria fowleri in Iowa between 1962–2016.
