My 7yr old has no sound perception. she's always loud. could this be be corrected by a tonsil/adnoidectomy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nope: This is most likely a hearing issue, or simply a manifestation of her personality. See your doctor and inquire about hearing tests. Hoever, hearing issues secondary to inner ear infection can come from chronic sinus drainage which quite frequently enlarges lymphoid tissue in the throat. Conceptually, they can be mutual. This should be investigated.
