Ask ur dentist: This can only be diagnosed with an exam and radiographs. See your local dentist for a complete evaluation.

Red gums, bad breath: If you have bad gingivitis, the gums around your teeth will be red and swollen. In addition, there will be pus around the gums especially if you push on them. The pus will be foul smelling and taste bad. The infection can involve the entire tooth and lead to tooth loss so have it checked by a dentist.

Gum Disease...Me?: Gum disease, especially in the early stages, much like the heart disease, can be insidious, until something obvious or serious manifests. Swollen tender gum, bleeding when brushing or flossing, tartar visible on and between the teeth, gum recession, "black triangles" between the teeth (where the gum used to be), all warning signs. see your dentist for an evaluation and keep regular checkups!

Gum disease: While there are warning signs and you can Google it for more information, only a dentist who actually examines you, takes radiographs (x-rays) and charts periodontal pocket depth can determine if you have gum disease, to what extent and what is necessary to treat it. See your General Dentist or a Periodontist for routine exams and cleaning.
