Can any doc explain if it's normal to get cross eyed when we get drowsy?

Not normal: See your eye MD. You may have an esophoria, a strabismus condition that manifests only when one is tired or impaired. As long as the condition occurs only when a patient is drowsy, it is unlikely that surgery is required.
