Prevention: Have no clue why you had problems at age 29, but would wonder about congenital heart disease, or genetic disorder. Have your doctors checked your homocysteine, or even better, checked MTHFR genetics? Do you have sickle cell or other blood dyscrasias? Are you on meds which would prevent recurrent heart events or strokes?
