Wanted to know if discount ct/mri scan diagnostic centers give a poorer service quality?

Not necessarily : Sometimes the equipment is not as good and the reading radiologist may not be as skilled or even local. Sometimes, the reading doctor is located in another country.

Sometimes: It is hard to answer. The imaging is dependent on many factors including the equipment, the tech performing the scan, and the interpreting physician. Any breakdown in that system leads to poor results.

It really depends on many factors. I know of some out patient centers that give a discount to people that they know are poor and have no or cheap health insurance, and they always do a great job for the patient. No matter what the discount. Others are imaging mills with poor service and reliability. Hospitals tend to overcharge greatly.
