A member asked:

Doctors, what is the difference between tazorac (tazarotene) gel and cream?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Same medicine but...: Gels in general are a bit stronger than their cream counterparts of the same medicine. So if you have a medicine that is working and then the effects begin to wane a bit, or you see response but could see better, sometimes going to the gel will help. But with increased strength also comes increased side effects, so be careful.
