Why do memory foam beds create added pain to necks, lower back problems or mild lumbar scoliosis?

Sleep on Side: Hard to say why. Beds are so specific for each person, I would suggest trying another bed if possible. Alternatively, side sleeping puts the least pressure on the spine, especially with pillows between legs. If this is still uncomfortable consider sleeping in your back with 2-3 pillows under your legs to raise them, so back stays flat on the bed.

Yes & no: Scoliosis is not painful so a mattresses don't make a difference. For back & neck pain it is hit & miss. No one mattress fits all.
