How do i make sure my baby is hydrated?

Look for "fluid-ity": Good urine output, acting vigorous, moist mouth and eyes, real tears when crying - these are all signs to suggest adequate hydration. Your pediatrician can help you know for sure.

Wet Diapers: We track a baby's intake, and their hydration status, by following how many wet diapers they are creating. Infants under a month of age should make at least 4 a day. Sick children with stomach flu should have 3 a day, with at least one being heavy. If your are seeing less than this, contact your healthcare provider.
