Rat bite: Clean the wound well with soap & water. See dr to make sure tetanus is up to date & see if antibiotics are needed. In Asia, rats may spread Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome , Lymphocytic Chorio-meningitis (LCM), Plague, Rat-Bite Fever Spirillum minue), Salmonellosis, & Tularemia through a variety of routes (not just bites).
