A member asked:

My father had a severe anemia he take sintrom 4mg for his heart valve replacement what should i give him for anemia that not interact .

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See doctor: There are many potential causes of anemia. Since your father is anti coagulated bleeding is a significant possibility but needs to be evaluated by a doctor to know what to do. His pro time could be too long, there could be something else wrong that is coming to light because of the blood thinner or it could be something else altogether. See his health care provider. There is no simple answer.
