Yes: Any time a young woman has been sexually active and has a late period, pregnancy must be a consideration. Maybe take an EPT. Or see your doc. Good luck with the twins thing.

Fertility testing: If you have been trying to get pregnant for more than 12 months without success then fertility testing is warranted. If your periods are not regular then you may not be ovulating.
