Phlegm: You might have a food allergy. Look for a doctor who can do an ALCAT food allergy test on you.

Allergy: You may also consider evaluation for seasonal and environmental allergies, and gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) which is sometiems called acid reflux. All of those have been known to contribute to excess phlegm in the throat.
