Only in the case of: Alopecia. And usually a stimulating scalp massage INCREASES blood flow to the scalp, and does NOT cause hair loss. Every hair goes through 3 cycles. It might be that it is just a coincidence that you go around the "falling out" cycle. Maybe next time just ask for less nails and more fingertips with the wash!
