Nose infection: Boils in the nose-- technically the nares, or opening parts of the nose are almost always due to Staph infection. Specifically that's Staphylococcus aureus which can be resistant to antibiotics (MRSA). You should limit any trauma (don't pull out nose hairs-- clip instead). Try Mupirocin ointment 3x a day for 3 to 5 days. If that doesn't help, seek help as infections of the face can be dangerous.
