If infection related: then pain is constant and progressive typically-not on and off. If no fever, chills or sweats as well as no urinary symptoms then it is unlikely related to an infection of the urinary tract especially if the pain is made worse with certain activities or positions and better with other ones. If symptoms progress then seek an evaluation from a physician in any case.
