A member asked:

My hair is currently around shoulder length and i was wondering how long would it take to have it grow to my waist and is there any way to speed it up?

Healthy hair: Hair grows at about a rate of 1.25 centimeters a month, so if you're looking for longer hair I'm afraid you will have to wait awhile. There is nothing that will "speed this up" despite what you might be told. Obviously eating normally, sleeping well and avoiding stress will avoid hairloss. Also avoiding very tight ponytails is a good idea too since that can cause thinning at the hairline.
