Could be: White spots on the tonsils could be food particles. The only way to be sure of strep throat is a throat culture. Tonsillitis is a specific diagnosis made by a physician when the tonsils in the throat are red and enlarged and painful. Strep throat does not necessarily indicate tonsil involvement. Obviously you need an objective diagnosis by a specialist.
