A member asked:

Difference between flaccid and spastic paralysis.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tone: The difference is in the tone of the muscles. In people with spastic paralysis, they will often have involuntary movements of their legs or arms and it is very difficult to move the limb by another person like a physical therapy. This is spasticity. A flaccid paralyzed limb has no muscle tone and is limp and easily moved by another.
