Endometriosis: Unfortunately your chances are higher but staying on a hormonal birth control unless you are trying to conceive is the best way to treat and prevent progression of the disease. Pregnancy is also a good treatment. Ever after a tubal ligantion, hormonal birth control will continue to keep endometriosis at bay.
