A member asked:

When i bend my legs, like sitting on a very low seat, i get a burning pain below my sternum. what could be causing this? gastro-colonoscopy was ok

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gastric acid?: Sitting on a very low seat may increase your intra-abdominal pressure, and, if you have a full stomach, cause the gastric acid enter the esophagus. Occasional event like this may not immediately result in gastroesophageal reflux disease visible on the upper endoscopy.
