I hv taken antibiotics iit was vry high dosage nd hv taken thrice a day for 5 days plus other medi too.. my periods is delayed for 5 days.. is it k???

Antibiotics & period: Antibiotics certainly have side effects- we all know that. One side effect is that they can affect the metabolism of birth control pills. So you have to be extra careful if you are sexually active. On a different note, if you were very sick recently, your body might forego a period if the illness really weakened you. Hope that helps!
