Rarely: Antibiotics can interfere with birth control medications This was discovered years ago and is now a rare problem. Using the same pharmacist helps because they have a record of all your mends and will be alerted if there is a conflict. Also some antibiotics come with a warning label it it is known they interfere.

Not likely: If you're not pregnant, you may miss your period due to stress, excessive exercise, antipsychotics and antidepressants medications. Antibiotic and painkillers are not effecting the period. Nevertheless, it’s always a good idea to make an appointment with your PCP when you notice anything out of the ordinary.
