Pps vaccine: Pps vaccine is a pneumococcal vaccine which is 23 valent, which means it is effective against 23 strains of pneumococcci.It is only given to older children and adults.Usually given as one dose, but some may need a second dose.Side effects are mild and limited to local reaction and mild fever and malaise for 2 days.It should be given to al adults over the age of 65, and others who are at high risk.
