What are the complications of down syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Down's Syndrome: Heart defects, more prone to infections, cervical spine abnormalities, eye problems, learning delays, low muscle tone, facial abnormalities (including making infants/children prone to ear infections), various types of hearing loss. These are some of the main ones, but does not mean every person with Downs has any or all of these, and there are other more uncommon ones as well.
