How is osteoporosis reversed or stopped?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Hi. That depends on the cause for poor bone health. I suggest you see an endocrinologist with interest in metabolic bone disease, and have a thorough evaluation. If an underlying cause is found, that is preferentially treated. At 45, you're young, and a good history, physical, and diagnostic evaluation may be warranted. Good luck!
