Doctors, can my cataract blindness be cured?

Depends: If the only reason for your diminished vision is the cataract and the eye is otherwise normal, then cataract surgery can restore vision and you will be "cured". If the eye is damaged in some other way, then the vision will be diminished afterwards by the contribution of that other problem.
