Maybe -Hookworms &: round worms. Diseases that can be spread by cats to humans (directly or indirectly) include: Bacteria - Cat Scratch Disease (Baronella henselae) & Salmonellosis. Intestinal parasites - (roundworms & hookworms). Protozoa -Toxoplasmosis (Toxoplasma gondii), Giardiasis & Cryptosporidiosis. Virus – Rabies. Fungus – Ringworm
