Yes: The gallbladder tends to lie in the back portion of the liver and tends to refer pain to the right shoulder and right lower back. The pain associated with the gallbladder usually occurs shortly after eating fatty or fried foods. It can also be associated with nausea and vomiting. You should see your PCP and will likely need an ultrasound of your gallbladder depending on your symptoms.
