Hard, oddly shaped breast lump for several months. surgeon wants 2 week follow up before we "discuss options." is this worrisome?

Yes: You've had DCIS in the past. Now you have a hard, immobile breast lump. That is a worrisome history. You need to see your surgeon and get it biopsied so that you know what it is.

Get 2nd opinion: You need to get a work up that includes breast imaging and an exam by your breast surgeon. I highly recommend you get a 2nd opinion by a dedicated breast surgeon or at a breast cancer center. This lump needs to be biopsied, especially with your history.
