Compress/ dry : A "pimple" in the ear canal is frequently known as a furuncle. Often it will clear without any treatment. Sometimes it requires an antibiotic. It is helpful to use a warm washcloth near the outside of the ear. It is usually caused by damage to the skin in the ear from a q-tip or other objects. To prevent this in the future, do not put anything into the canal and try to keep the ear dry.

Pus: You may have a small draining abscess in your outer ear canal. See your doctor for possible drainage and antibiotics
